Lafayette attorney Jean C Breaux Jr appeared at the Lottery headquarters this morning on Dec, 12, 2017 and claimed the winning prize via Power of Attorney on behalf of his client, a three family member partnership. The group, 292 Family Partnership, took the lump sum prize payment option which was equal to the cash value of the jackpot of $119,492,685 for the Oct. 25 Powerball drawing. Donald Coffman, who claimed the mega prize on Monday at the Tennessee Lottery’s Nashville headquarters along with his wife, Joanna was told to play the Powerball by his father “He told me to play and dream big,” so he played and won!

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at the Tobacco Superstore located at 4734 Navy Road, Millington. He matched five of six numbers drawn on Saturday, August 18. plus he added the Powerball Power Play for the extra dollar, so the prize was doubled.

The Coffmans stated they will build a new house, complete with a “Man-Diva Cave,” among other plans that they have in store with their newly acquired lottery winnings.

It seems the father felt his son was going to win if he played the Powerball which he did and did win. Sometimes you just got to trust your feelings and go with it.
